Catherine Rutten is CEO of pharma.be, the association of 130+ innovative pharmaceutical companies in Belgium. She has extensive experience as Director in highly regulated sectors such as the post and telecommunications sectors, both from a company perspective (Loeff Claeys Verbeke, British Telecom), and from the authorities’ perspective (as member of the Council of the Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications). Catherine Rutten holds a Law degree at the University of Leuven (KUL), as well as a LL.M. of the College of Europe and the London School of Economics.
