Jean Verheyen is founder and CEO of Nallian. Nallian is the world’s first open data sharing platform for business collaboration. Nallian helps communities of business partners, typically around logistic hubs such as airports and seaports, to become high-performance clusters. As a community data hub linking the participants’ systems, Nallian addresses the complexities of collecting, managing, enriching, and selectively distributing a pool of shared operational data, whilst enabling an ecosystem of independent application providers to address domain-specific use cases on top of the shared data. Reference implementations include BRUcloud & NxtPort. Nallian’s mission is to make the world operate as one, one community at a time.
Previously, Jean was an Executive at Descartes Systems Group. As SVP Business Development, he was responsible for driving Descartes’ global strategic alliances and initiatives in emerging markets and industries. Jean joined Descartes through the acquisition of Porthus. Before joining Porthus, Verheyen held sales positions at Xerox.
Verheyen holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education and a Master’s in Applied Economic Sciences from K.U. Leuven, as well as an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the Flanders Business School in Antwerp.
